Park and Recreation Access

A New York State Access Pass permits a resident of New York State with a qualifying permanent disability free use of parks, historic sites and recreational facilities operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation

An America The Beautiful - Access Pass is the replacement for the Golden Access Passport as of January 2007. The pass is for citizens or permanent residents of the United States, regardless of age, who have been medically determined to have a permanent disability. It provides access to, and use of, any Federal recreation site that charges an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee and provides a discount on some Expanded Amenity Fees

Presentations regarding these access passes are given periodically; please watch for announcements regarding these presentations.
