Peer Counseling

Peer Mental Health Advocates staff are available to provide services to individuals with mental health needs. Their personal experience offers empathy and knowledge of systems to help the mental health consumer navigate the system.

Some of the issues counselors help with are recovery court, jail transition, homelessness and other crisis events, employment, housing, maintaining medical and psychiatric services, as well as social security and other entitlement programs. Our Peer Mental Health Advocates encourage freedom of choice and empowerment.
