Recreational programs give people with developmental disabilities opportunities for movement, socialization, wellness, and community connection. These activities can help build confidence, friendships, and quality of life.

Directions in Independent Living serves individuals, families, veterans, caregivers, and community partners across Olean, Wellsville, Cattaraugus County, Allegany County, McKean County, and Potter County with a focus on independence, accessibility, self-direction, safety, and community participation.

This recreational dance program is for individuals 12 and older, have a developmental disability, and are OPWDD eligible. While it normally occurs 3 Saturday’s a month, it is currently on hold until we find a new location to hold classes.
