3rd Annual Wine Walk
We are pleased to announce our 3rd Annual Wine Walk! This year we are holding our Wine Walk on May 4th, 2024, again, here in Olean, NY in the Union Street area. The Wine Walk will begin at 1pm and end at 4pm. The registration table for the Wine Walk will be located in Lincoln Park in the corner by the sign. This park is located at the intersections of Union and State Streets in Olean. Pick up your bracelets, passports, and wine glasses at this table beginning at 12:30pm. Please note that no wine will be served until 1pm.
For the first two weeks in April, the ticket price will be reduced to $30 per person. After April 13th, the tickets will be regular price, which is $35 for each participant. Please purchase through the link below or use the QR Code on the flyers.
Each participant will receive a wine tasting glass with their ticket purchase. Each vendor or business will offer tastings at each location. Please make sure you finish your wine and rinse your glass at each stop. By law, you are not allowed to walk away from the booth area with an open container with alcohol still inside it! There will be snacks/Hors d'oeuvres offered at some of the booths as well as some vendors/businesses offering discounts, coupons, or specials for their stores or eating establishments.

Your ticket purchase includes your wine tastings at each location, and your wine glass. **MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO PARTICIPATE!
3rd Annual DIL Golf Scramble
Join us for an extraordinary day of golf, community, and support at Directions in Independent Living's 3rd Annual DIL Scramble at the Allegheny Hills Golf Course in Cuba, NY on June 7, 2024! Since 1988, Directions has championed the independence and civil rights of individuals with disabilities in Cattaraugus and Allegany Counties, NY. Serving around 2000 consumers annually across 17 programs, our mission is to empower veterans, senior citizens, and individuals facing physical, cognitive, and mental health challenges. Our comprehensive approach ensures every client achieves their fullest potential, fostering independence, dignity, and a vibrant community presence.
This year, we're inviting you to be a part of this transformative journey. Whether you're buying your team tickets and swinging for the longest drive, aiming for the closest pin, or simply enjoying the camaraderie, your participation directly contributes to enhancing our services and outreach. We are also asking for donations for that day. From silent auction baskets to prizes and in-kind gifts, every contribution makes a difference.
